Quantumcorp operates its business activities in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (The Act) which came into effect on 21 December 2001.The Act outlines the National Privacy Principles (NPP's), which set the minimum standards for how private sector organisations (like Quantumcorp) should handle personal information.

Clients instruct Quantumcorp to collect personal information.
We collect personal information through interviews and surveillance.
We only collect personal information in a lawful and fair manner and not in an unreasonably intrusive way.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect is accurate.
How we use personal information
We use and disclose personal information only to the instructing client.
We use personal information solely for the purpose it was collected. We recognise that we are prohibited from using the information for any other purpose.
We will not disclose the personal information to any third parties.
How we protect personal information
Personal information is held on our secure database and within our premises which is secured by keyed locks and a back to base alarm.
Computers are password protected.
Staff are trained such that they are aware of the necessity to uphold the virtues of The Act and of the importance of protecting the interests of clients and persons of interest.
